Homework help that teaches, not just finishes
Homework becomes stressful when a learner is missing the concept behind the question. We work through the current task together, then immediately test the same idea with a fresh problem so the understanding transfers.
Parents often tell us that one or two sessions is enough to stop the nightly homework standoff. The goal is not to complete the worksheet for the learner; it is to make the next worksheet possible without help.
Because homework assistance is offered alongside maths tutoring and physics tutoring, many families combine the two — a weekly foundation session plus shorter homework support during busy terms.
How homework assistance works
Bring the current work
The learner brings the homework, assignment or past-paper question they are stuck on.
Find the real block
We identify whether the issue is a missing concept, a reading error or a careless habit.
Teach the method
We explain and model the approach using the actual task, then use a parallel example.
Plan the next step
The learner leaves with a short note on what to practise before the next session.
Frequently asked
Questions about homework assistance in Windhoek
Is homework assistance the same as tutoring?
It is structured help with current school work and assignments. We explain the concept behind the question, not just the answer, so the learner can handle the next night's homework independently.
Which subjects do you help with?
Maths and science for Grade 6 to 11. Grade 9 to 11 learners can focus on the curriculum they are following: IB, IGCSE, NSSCO, CAPS or IEB.
Do you help with assignments and past papers?
Yes, as long as it is used to teach the method rather than to produce a completed assignment without understanding. We will walk the learner through a similar problem so the submitted work is genuinely theirs.
Where does homework assistance take place?
In person at 1@Steps Building, Kleine Kuppe, Windhoek.
